MG MS-06F Zaku II 2.0

Finished painting my Zaku II. Couldn't make a decent paint scheme with the colors I had left so I just bought a fresh can of paint. It allowed me to go over some parts that either got scratched or didn't have good coverage the first time through. Overall, I like how it turned out.

Too bad I don't have a working camera on me. Otherwise I'd be posting pictures of my finished models.

Ran out of light green spray paint just before finishing the paint on the last 4 pieces of my MG Zaku II. Not really worth buying more paint just for the 4 parts. Tamiya paints aren't the cheapest things around.

Time for a custom color scheme.

Like streaming episodes of Stargate SG-1 from Hulu while working on my Gundam models.

My MG Zaku II 2.0 is almost done being painted. It doesn't look too bad.

MG RX-78 NT-1 "Alex" Gundam

Finished painting my MG Alex. Gonna do the decals after the paint finishes curing.

Basically did the same color scheme it came with. I gave it a much darker blue than it originally started with. It's more like the dark blue the Titans use. Also, I used a darker orange for the thrusters and vents instead of the yellow it came in. It matches the dark blue well.

Note for self: be sure to use primer on parts that you plan to do masking on. The lacquer paint doesn't adhere well to the plastic and will easily come off from using tape.

Still have to settle on a color scheme for my Zaku II 2.0 though...

Zeta Gundam

Just finished watching Zeta Gundam, in Blu-ray no less...

Gunpla pt.3

Got some paint to paint my Alex with. Haven't bought anything to do panel lines with yet though. Also, still can't decide on a color scheme for my Zaku. If the two shades of green, or any color I happen to settle on, aren't just right, the whole thing won't look good at all. Gonna have to hunt around for some good color combos.

Just realized that both Ponyo and District 9 are coming out at the same weekend. Looks like I'll be spending my weekend at the movies.
